When many people think of Sycamore Country Club, they think of golf. But one of Ravena’s hidden gems is quickly becoming a destination not only for golfers, but also for diners, families, and anyone looking for a unique place to gather with friends.
Located on Tompkins Road in Ravena, Sycamore Country Club combines scenic views, great food, and welcoming event spaces in a beautiful setting just minutes from Ravena. The club’s recently revitalized clubhouse and outdoor dining areas offer visitors a chance to relax and enjoy a meal while overlooking the golf course.
A Dining Destination Open to Everyone
You don’t need to be a golfer to enjoy Sycamore’s Bar & Grill. Open to both golfers and the public from Tuesday-Friday 11:30 am – 9 pm, the restaurant offers lunch and dinner service in a relaxed atmosphere that welcomes families, friends, and visitors alike.
A friend and I stopped in for a casual lunch recently and we found the meal to be tasty and the staff was very friendly. We sat by the windows overlooking the course and soaked in the all the beauty around us.
Although we didn’t sit outside for our visit, a recently constructed outdoor dining terrace has become a favorite feature of the property. Overlooking the front nine holes, the spacious terrace provides a peaceful setting to enjoy a meal, gather with friends after work, or simply take in the view on a summer evening. Adjacent to the deck is also Sycamore’s new Snack Shop open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm, which offers wings, burgers and other similar fare.
