Many communities have a promotional map designed to guide residents and visitors to all its key destinations and businesses. Thanks to the RCS Community Business Association (RCS CBA) and the Ravena News Herald, Ravena Coeymans Selkirk now has such a map, along with this website. The goal of both tools is to drive interest in our wonderful businesses, abundant natural resources and small town lifestyle that make our corner of Albany County, NY a great place to live and work.
The printed map can be found at the Town of Coeymans and Village of Ravena offices. The RCS Central School District administrative office has a supply for families new to the area who are enrolling students. The RCS Community Library and Janine’s Floral Creations also have a supply. We are encouraging local real estate agents to provide the map to potential residents and businesses.
A large stack of the maps went to Carver Companies because they employ people from all over the Capital Region at the Port of Coeymans. We want to encourage these employees to shop and dine in Coeymans, Ravena and Selkirk.
RCS CBA and the Ravena News Herald are preparing to print the next edition of the map in October. If you would like to have your business featured on it you can learn more here. Please grab a copy of the map (or two) and give them to your friends and family. Encourage them to explore all Ravena Coeymans and Selkirk have to offer. As our busy events calendar demonstrates, there’s a lot going on in this place we call home.
